MasterCatalog

Product feeds for Google Merchant Center

Your catalog, listed on Google.

MasterCatalog turns a store's product catalog into a product feed for Google Merchant Center and keeps it current as prices and stock change.

In private development. Not open for sign-up.

How it works

A product feed is the list of products a merchant shows on Google. MasterCatalog builds that list from the store and sends it to the merchant's own Merchant Center account.

01

Connect a store

The merchant connects their online store with read-only access to its product catalog.

02

Review the feed

Products appear as a feed with the attributes Google expects, so problems are visible before anything is sent.

03

Publish to Google

The merchant connects their Google Merchant Center account. MasterCatalog sends the feed and shows each product's status.

How MasterCatalog uses Google data

MasterCatalog asks for access to Google Merchant Center only when a merchant chooses to connect an account, and uses it only to run that merchant's product feed.

  1. 01
Find the right accountLists the Merchant Center accounts the signed-in person can access, so they can choose one.
  2. 02
Send product dataCreates a product data source in that account and submits, updates, and removes the merchant's products in it.
  3. 03
Show product statusReads Google's status and any issues for those products, so the merchant can see what to fix.
  4. 04
Nothing elseGoogle data is never sold, never used for advertising, and never shared except to run the feed. Access can be revoked at any time from the Google Account permissions page.
